Wayland subcommittee finalizes acting superintendent's interview packet

WAYLAND — April 23, 2024 — Wayland subcommittee locks in interview packet for acting superintendent's first-year review. The Superintendent Evaluation Subcommittee spent its April 23 working session assembling a shared-drive packet — interview question guide, sample email, summary template and a copy of Acting Superintendent David Fleishman's goals — for use by School Committee members interviewing the administrative council. Members rejected a one-to-five numeric scale on Fleishman's four goals, opting for a discussion guide instead, and tightened cover-email language to promise feedback will be reported "with factual, non-identifiable information." Assistant Superintendent Abigail was dropped from the interview list because she is on leave. Internal write-ups are due May 11, a consolidated packet the week of May 27, and a final evaluation is targeted for the School Committee's June 19 meeting. The April 10 minutes were approved unanimously.
