Wayland home sales range from $720,000 to $2.625 million in August

Wayland recorded 19 property transfers between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, with 12 disclosing a sale price ranging from $720,000 to $2,625,000 and a median of $1,185,000. The month's top sale was 85 Highland Circle at $2,625,000, sold by Jeremy and Carolyn Hastings to Kai Vernstrom. Six of the seven transactions without a disclosed price involved a grantor and grantee sharing a family name alongside trust language, suggesting internal family or trust transfers rather than open-market sales. Sales were spread across town with no single street recording more than one transaction, and prices split evenly across tiers above and below $1.5 million.
