Fire Chief Neil McPherson urged backing a letter of attestation to join the Middlesex Regional Emergency Communication Center with Framingham and Natick ahead of a March 6 state 911 grant deadline, telling the board the "first three years the town of Wayland would not have to pay anything." Public Works Director Tom Holder won informal support for a $206,950 stormwater asset inventory, roughly $124,000 reimbursable from the Clean Water Trust, and a $250,000 advance for 25 percent design of the Route 20 corridor. The board unanimously appointed Kevin Goodwin to the HRDEI Committee and voted to insert warrant articles including a $250,000 capital stabilization appropriation and a $212,052 property transfer. Member Christopher Reynolds abstained on a resolution exploring an indoor sports facility at 195 and 207 Main Street.
