The Department of Public Works has become the latest Wayland department to move its permitting process online, the Town of Wayland announced Oct. 15.

DPW permits are now processed through the town's online platform, OpenGov. Residents who click the link to apply will be asked to log in or create an account if they do not already have one.

According to the announcement, a single OpenGov account works across all town departments that require permits, so residents do not need separate logins for each department.

Questions about the new system can be directed to (508) 358-3672.
