Chair Michael Gitten and DPW Director Thomas Holder led a two-hour working session that tied the new fee to roughly $208,000 in projected small-capital plant repairs over three years, divided across about 10,000 gallons per day of releasable design flow. The existing $65.07 rate would still apply to a handful of in-district properties that never connected, with any expansion billed at the new lower rate. Town Center, which is "within a few hundred gallons a day" of its cap, has asked about buying 11,000 gallons but was "quite surprised" to learn a quarterly base charge of roughly $8,000 per 2,000 gallons would apply regardless of use. RH White was awarded the membrane-installation contract, with Town Manager Steven Crane set to sign Monday; total project cost is "right around the $200,000 plus" originally budgeted.
