Commissioners directed Recreation Director Catherine to seek informal proposals from Edge Sports Group's Chris Collins and at least two competitors, including Teamworks, for an indoor turf facility at the old DPW site, with cost estimates floated between $10 million and $15 million. Commissioners reviewed a draft state bill requiring AEDs at every athletic field, which Catherine said would cost roughly $5,000 per unit installed across the town's approximately 60 field sites. The annual goals discussion was tabled to April 10.
