Wayland Community Preservation Committee re-elects officers, moves up 2027 application deadline. Chair Susan Weinstein, Vice Chair Doug Stotz and Clerk Maureen Cavanaugh were unanimously returned to their posts, and the panel voted to renew its $4,350 annual Community Preservation Coalition membership from administrative funds. Members reported the Affordable Housing Trust remains stalled in land court over a property at 12 Hammond more than a year in, calling the delay "ridiculous," while a $250,000 pledge to a St.
Anne's housing project awaits drawdown after missing the latest state funding round. A separate update described "clear scope for a simple swap of 1.5 to 2-ish acres" that could open a long-sought walking path near 25 York Road. The committee set a Friday, November 13 deadline for 2027 Annual Town Meeting funding applications, with a pre-application meeting moved to Tuesday, November 17.
