Wayland Police To Host Coffee With Cops Sept. 18

Wednesday, September 9 — Wayland's varsity girls soccer team battled Milford to a 2-2 tie, according to a MaxPreps score report forwarded to The Wayland Post.

Thursday, September 10 — Wayland High School placed among the top five public high schools in Greater Boston in a new ranking, Wayland Patch reported in "Wayland High School Ranks In Top 5 In Greater Boston, According To Boston Magazine." The list weighs public high schools within or near Interstate 495 using recent state education data, per Patch. Friday, September 11 — Wayland High School will hold a Patriotic Halftime Show as the district marks the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, according to Wayland Public Schools' "School & Community Hub" newsletter.

Thursday, September 17 — Arts Wayland will host "Macho Mocha," a coffee and connection meetup for men, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at its Andrew Avenue gallery.

Friday, September 18 — The Wayland Police Department will host "Coffee with Cops," inviting residents to meet officers, ask questions and share concerns over coffee in a relaxed setting, according to the town's News Flash.

Monday, September 21 — Arts Wayland will present "The Songwriter's Woodshed" at 7:30 p.m. at its gallery.

Wednesday, October 14 — The Wayland Museum & Historical Society will hold a Trivia Night fundraiser at The Villa Restaurant on East Plain Street. The restaurant will donate 10 percent of sales from 3 to 10 p.m. to the museum, and free trivia starts at 6:30 p.m.
