Wayland assessors approve $370,556 motor vehicle excise commitment
WAYLAND -- April 7, 2025, Wayland assessors approve $370,556 motor vehicle excise commitment. The Board of Assessors unanimously voted 4-0 Monday to approve the second 2025 motor vehicle and trailer excise commitment, totaling $370,556.20, to be issued April 14. Vice-Chair Philip David Parks ran the brief remote meeting with Chair Zachariah L. Ventress joining muted; members Massimo Taurisano, Douglass McNeilly and Steven Klitgord rounded out the quorum. The packet included Munis accounting totals and a Kelly and Ryan database page total backing the figure. The board also congratulated Klitgord on winning another three-year term, with the member telling colleagues, "I do enjoy the process here." The board next meets April 14 with an executive session on the agenda.
