Zoning board continues Launchpoint Way permit appeal to Dec. 12

WAYLAND -- November 14, 2023, Wayland ZBA punts Planning Board's Launchpoint Way permit appeal to Dec. 12. The Zoning Board of Appeals voted 4-0 Tuesday to continue case 23-20, the Planning Board's challenge to building permits issued at 1-7 Launchpoint Way and 80-104 Oxbow Road in the R60 district, to its next regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. Acting chair Thomas William White presided after regular chairman Wernig and member Janice, both attorneys, were absent; member Doug Levine, who moved the continuance, said the four memos in the record presented "a significantly complex legal issue" warranting a full panel. Planning Board Chair Annette Lewis asked the board not to take comment "until the hearing actually opens." A second case, 23-15 at 23B Bayfield Road, was also continued 5-0 to Dec. 12 pending Board of Health septic approval.
