Wayland School Committee adopts new chair-approval option for late minutes

WAYLAND — September 6, 2023 — Wayland School Committee adopts chair-approval backstop for minutes and plans rapid-recap newsletter. The committee unanimously made majority approval at an open meeting the default but allowed Chair Aaron Mueller to approve minutes between meetings under "extenuating circumstances" to stay compliant with Open Meeting Law, with later committee review "at the next regular meeting as is practical."
