Wayland Housing Trust approves $13,200 in bills, adopts annual report

WAYLAND — September 16, 2025 — Wayland's Municipal Affordable Housing Trust approved roughly $13,200 in bills and reshuffled its seat on the 212 Cochituate Road study committee. The board voted 4-0 to pay $367.50 to Alcock & Marcus for Land Court deregistration costs and 4-0 to pay a $12,870 Wayland Housing Authority invoice, both from Community Preservation Act funds. Chair Michael Staiti said he would resign from the Cochituate Road panel because its focus has shifted to group-home questions outside his expertise, telling members "I'm just not adding any value." Trustees unanimously nominated Brian Boja to take the seat, pending his acceptance. Staiti also reported the Zoning Board of Appeals approved an amended footprint for the Habitat for Humanity project, and a $400,000 Habitat advance was moved to the fiscal 2026 report pending execution of a purchase-and-sale agreement.
