Wayland Conservation Commission votes to appeal DEP approval of Boston Post Road project
WAYLAND — July 3, 2024 — Wayland Conservation Commission unanimously votes to appeal DEP approval of Boston Post Road project. Meeting briefly on July 3, the commission voted 6-0 to file a notice of appeal challenging the superseding order of conditions issued by the state Department of Environmental Protection for the Cascade Development Associates LLC project at 113-115 Boston Post Road (DEP file 322-1000; Map 30, Parcels 70 and 71). Chair Sean P. Fair told members they were "on a pretty tight turnaround to get this thing filed." Barbara Howell moved the appeal; Jen Perlman seconded. Howell, Perlman, Shannon Fischer, Jenny Brown, Tom Davidson and Fair all voted yes; Luke Legere remained recused from the case. No members of the public attended, and the commission adjourned at 9:05 p.m.
