Wayland Conservation Commission orders enforcement action on high school turf field

WAYLAND -- July 19, 2023, Wayland Conservation Commission escalates two-year turf field dispute with formal enforcement order. The unanimous vote directs the school department to produce a forensic investigation of crumb rubber migration from the high school synthetic field, a remediation plan and a design fix, with Chair Sean Fair calling it "the last shot across the bow" before the town hires its own engineer.
