Wayland assessors approve sixth motor vehicle excise commitment

WAYLAND — November 15, 2024 — Wayland Board of Assessors approves $50,623 motor vehicle excise commitment in six-minute Zoom meeting. Meeting on Nov. 15, the board unanimously approved the sixth motor vehicle and trailer excise commitment of calendar year 2024, totaling $50,623.17, to be issued Nov. 20. Vice-Chair Philip David Parks moved approval "as explained, and as in the materials provided for the meeting," seconded by Douglass McNeilly; the roll call passed 3-0 with Steven Klitgord also voting yes. Chair Zachariah L. Ventress and member Massimo Taurisano did not appear on the recorded roll. There was no public comment, no minutes review, and no director's update. The meeting opened at 12:14 p.m. and adjourned at 12:20 p.m.
