Wayland assessors approve minutes, enter executive session on FY24 abatements

WAYLAND — March 25, 2024 — Wayland Board of Assessors clears March minutes and pivots to executive session on FY24 abatements. Meeting remotely Monday with Vice-Chair Philip David Parks, Steven Klitgord serving as acting chair, and a third member present, the board voted 3-0 to accept the March 4 minutes after correcting a heading misdated February 12. The director reported that vendor RRC has picked up all fiscal 2025 forms of list, due March 1, and begun analysis and site inspections. Staff members Stephen Foley and Tamara Keith passed state certification courses — DOR 101 for Foley and MAA Courses 5 and 6 for Keith — leaving Keith one course shy of certification eligibility. The board set its next meeting for April 8 and entered executive session at 6:13 p.m. to act on exemptions filed through March 22.
