Planning Board continues 13 Sherina Road subdivision hearing to May 13

WAYLAND — April 22, 2025 — Wayland Planning Board kicks Sherina Road subdivision hearing to May 13 over thin quorum. With only Chair Anette S. Lewis, Vice Chair Robin Borgestedt and member Larry Kiernan eligible to act, attorney Kevin O'Leary agreed to continue the 13 Sherina Road definitive subdivision amendment hearing without opening it, preserving absent member Albert I. Montague Jr.'s vote; the board approved the continuance 3-0 to May 13 at 6:15 p.m. The bulk of the meeting was spent picking apart a 42-slide draft PowerPoint for a May 5 joint Route 20 master plan forum with the Select Board, with Lewis calling it too long and saying "I think we need to have it more focused" on zoning the board can actually control. Members also moved December and January meeting dates up a week to close holiday gaps.
