Housing Partnership endorses six-unit supportive housing plan on Loker Street

WAYLAND — March 19, 2025 — Wayland Housing Partnership unanimously backs six-unit supportive housing plan on Loker Street. The 6-0 vote authorized Chair Mary Mary M. Antes and member Catherine Provost to issue a letter of support for developer Matt Bosia's redesigned 67 Loker Street project, a partnership with Minute Man Arc serving adults with disabilities. Bosia told the board he has hired consultant Sunith John, cut roughly 1,000 square feet, eliminated a planned elevator and rotated the building to satisfy Conservation Commission setbacks. "It's in theory the same project," Bosia said, targeting a 60-day window to submit a complete application. Provost pressed on financing because Minute Man Arc does not use DDS funding, suggesting Mainstay in Newton as a possible alternative provider. The Wayland Housing Authority separately reported that 11 Hammond, a four-bedroom affordable unit, will rent for $2,800 plus utilities at 80 percent AMI, with applications due March 25.
