Conservation Commission reopens Shireen Road wetland classification amid spring evidence

WAYLAND -- December 18, 2024, Wayland Conservation Commission reopens Shireen Road wetland question after neighbors document historic spring. The commission also voted 6-0 to return $25,000 plus interest on a 171 Concord Road performance guarantee, 6-0 to allow removal of two trees at 9 Wheatlock Road with invasive removal and spring replanting, and continued the Islamic Center of Boston's 129 Boston Post Road hearing after engineer Bruce Ringwald presented revisions cutting riverfront impervious area to 3,945 square feet.
