Conservation Commission closes hearing on Cameron Road home addition

WAYLAND — November 19, 2025 — Wayland Conservation Commission closes Cameron Road hearing, pushes larger projects to December. The commission voted 5-0, with Clifford Lewis abstaining, to issue an order of conditions and Chapter 194 permit for an addition at 11 Cameron Road after Andrew Thibault of Goddard Consulting confirmed Board of Health sign-off on the septic plan. Hearings on the St. Mina Coptic Orthodox Church at 169 Rice Road and a six-unit apartment at 67A Loker Road were continued to Dec. 3; landscape architect Naomi Cottrell said the church plan now adds more than 100 Eastern red cedars and Atlantic white cedars in a "loose hedge fashion" for neighbor screening, while engineer Brandon Cosman said the Loker Road redesign cuts roughly 2,000 square feet of impervious surface. The board also extended the Dudley Pond invasive-management order five years and approved a negative determination for a 226-foot Boston Gas main replacement on School Street. Conservation Administrator Linda Hansen said the commission filed about $45,000 in CPC applications, including a new Hamlin Woods boardwalk.
