Arts Wayland, Town Center Plan Friday Block Party
Friday, August 28, 5 to 8 p.m. — Arts Wayland and Wayland Town Center are hosting Tap'n'Tunes, an end-of-summer block party on Elissa Avenue, which will close to traffic for the event. The band Seven2Many and newcomer Georgia Raines will perform, with brews, cider and wine from Clover Road Brewery, plus a kids' splash pool and games.
Wednesday, September 3 — Vendor registration closes for Arts Wayland's 2026 Winter Art Fair, set for December 5 at Wayland High School's Commons.
Tuesday, September 8, 7:30 p.m. — Arts Wayland's Music Exchange Listening Room, known as MXLR, returns to the Andrew Avenue gallery for its monthly songwriter showcase.

Month of October — The Wayland Museum's Robert H. Hawkins pop-up display tells the story of Mapledale, one of the first Black-owned golf clubs in Massachusetts, founded by Hawkins, who also managed Wayland's Sandy Burr golf course.
Wednesday, October 14, 6:30 p.m. — Trivia Night at The Villa Restaurant on East Plain Street benefits the Wayland Museum, with the restaurant donating 10 percent of sales during dine-in or takeout hours from 3 to 10 p.m.
Sunday, October 25 — The Wayland Museum's Mid-Century Modern House Tour visits five of the town's cherished mid-century homes, with proceeds supporting Museum programs.
