Members also appointed Caitlin Ahern as a Historic District Commission alternate through June 30, 2019. Treasurer Brittany Cummings reported reportable tax-title delinquencies fell from about $1.63 million to $1.08 million and asked for policy guidance on six parcels, including 390 Commonwealth Road, assessed at $255,000 against roughly $300,000 in back taxes, where foreclosure would clear the rolls but saddle the town with unwanted wetland. Moderator Dennis Berry reported the 28-article town meeting closed in 6.5 hours over two sessions, with the budget consuming just 73 minutes; Sunday drew 293 voters and Monday 319.
