Planning Board approves February minutes, defers May 1 draft

WAYLAND — May 28, 2024 — Wayland Planning Board approves February minutes and queues marijuana facility extension hearing. Chair Anette Lewis led the May 28 remote meeting, which opened at 7:03 p.m. with a 3-0 vote — Lewis, Albert I. Montague Jr. and Jen Steel in favor — to approve the Feb. 24 minutes as amended; Vice Chair Robin Borgestedt abstained, citing her absence from that meeting. Amendments were limited to minor wording fixes, including restoring the phrase "certain state requirements." The May 1 draft minutes were held over because they were "not ready yet," Lewis said. The agenda teed up a public hearing on Earthwell Farms LLC's request to extend its 526 Boston Post Road medical marijuana treatment center special permit by one year to July 30, 2025, plus a Town Meeting zoning recap covering the multi-family overlay, retail self-storage and solar compact development.
