Wayland Median Home Price Falls To $1.27 Million In July

Wednesday, August 26, 11:59 p.m. — Arts Wayland closes member submissions for its September-October art exhibit at the gallery on Andrew Avenue.

Friday, August 28, 5 to 8 p.m. — Arts Wayland and Wayland Town Center host Tap'n'Tunes, an end-of-summer block party on Elissa Avenue featuring the band Seven2Many and newcomer Georgia Raines, plus drinks from Clover Road Brewery. Elissa Avenue will close to traffic for seating, a kiddie splash pool and games.

Tuesday, September 1 — Deadline for Massachusetts authors to submit ghost stories and poetry to Arts Wayland's "The Massachusetts Gothic," a collaboration with the MetroWest Writers' Guild; selected work will be read at a reception September 25.

Sunday, September 20, noon to 2 p.m. — The Wayland Museum & Historical Society opens its year-long exhibit "The Home Team" with a reception for its first chapter, "Out Until Dark," on view through November.

Saturday, October 3 — The Wayland Museum & Historical Society hosts the Wayland Festival.

Wednesday, October 14, 6:30 p.m. — Trivia Night at The Villa Restaurant benefits the Wayland Museum & Historical Society, which receives 10 percent of sales from 3 to 10 p.m. that day; trivia is free and starts at 6:30 p.m.

Sunday, October 25 — The Wayland Museum's Mid-Century Modern House Tour visits five of the town's mid-century modern homes, with proceeds supporting the museum's programs.

Saturday, October 31 — The museum's Halloween PAW-rade brings dogs and owners in costume on a sidewalk loop through the historic town center, with prizes for best costume matches.

Sunday, December 6 — The Wayland Museum & Historical Society holds its 2026 Holiday Open House.
