Tracing Liberty series sets final events for July 23-26

Monday, July 13 — The Wayland Free Public Library marked Disability Pride Month with book displays both upstairs in adult services and downstairs in the children's room, part of a town-wide effort to highlight materials on disability history and experience.

Monday, July 13 — The Town of Wayland, the Wayland Museum & Historical Society and Wayland250 announced the final installment of their Tracing Liberty: History Talks and Nature Walks series, which concludes this month with a visit from the Slave Dwelling Project, running July 23 to 26. Wednesday, July 15 — The Wayland Department of Public Works will close Glezen Lane from Draper Road to the Wayland Swim & Tennis Club starting at 7 a.m. for road construction.

Thursday, July 16 — Arts Wayland hosts Macho Mocha, a coffee-and-connection gathering for men, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at its gallery on Andrew Avenue.

Friday, July 24 — Beatrice Herford's Vokes Players opens its next production, Joe DiPietro's "Over the River and Through the Woods," directed by David Berti, for a run through Aug. 8.
