The following is a compilation of incidents and arrests recorded in the Wayland Police Department's official public log for the period June 8–21, 2026. All persons listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Domestic violence incidents, sexual assaults, and juvenile matters are excluded per Massachusetts law (G.L. c. 41, section 98F).
Monday, June 8, 11:41 a.m., Motor Vehicle Accident: A two-vehicle crash on Commonwealth Road resulted in one person being transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
Monday, June 8, 12:32 p.m., Motor Vehicle Accident: A vehicle struck a utility pole on Claypit Hill Road; no injuries were reported and the pole was undamaged.
Tuesday, June 9, 3:31 p.m., Gas Line Strike: A caller reported hitting a gas line with an excavator on Lincoln Road; National Grid responded.
Tuesday, June 9, 6:05 p.m., Motor Vehicle Accident: A two-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Boston Post and Plain roads.
Tuesday, June 9, 7:08 p.m., Hit-and-Run: A hit-and-run was reported in the parking lot at 131 Boston Post Road; Weston Police contacted their resident involved, who was directed to call Wayland Police. No vehicle damage was noted.
Tuesday, June 9, 9:23 p.m., Property Damage: A Glezen Lane resident reported damage to his lawn and small trees and shrubs, suspected to have been caused by a delivery truck or van.
Wednesday, June 10, 2:38 p.m., Motor Vehicle Accident: A single-vehicle crash at CVS, on the 25 block of West Plain Street, required transport to Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
Wednesday, June 10, 9:53 p.m., Road Closure: A large tree fell across Concord Road; the road was closed at Tally Ho Lane and Red Barn Road.
Thursday, June 11, 6:03 a.m., Motor Vehicle Stop: A driver stopped on Old Connecticut Path was issued a summons for operating on a suspended license.
Thursday, June 11, 9:53 a.m., Motor Vehicle Accident: A three-vehicle crash at Cochituate Road and Trinity Place resulted in one person being transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
Thursday, June 11, 12:57 p.m., Larceny: A caller from King Street reported that a cart containing electric meters had been stolen.
Thursday, June 11, 3:01 p.m., Motor Vehicle Accident: A minor crash in the Bank of America parking lot, on the 100 block of Commonwealth Road, resulted in no injuries.
Thursday, June 11, 6:53 p.m., Outdoor Fire: An outdoor fire near Heard's Pond, with three individuals present, was reported by Sudbury Public Safety; the fire was extinguished within 20 minutes.
Thursday, June 11, 7:36 p.m., Motor Vehicle Accident: A minor crash at Station 2, on the 100 block of Main Street, involved two vehicles; no injuries were reported.
Thursday, June 11, 9:18 p.m., Transformer Fire: Multiple callers reported a transformer on fire on Moore Road; the fire was extinguished.
Friday, June 12, 5:34 p.m., Utility Hazard: A large tree branch was reported hanging on primary utility wires on Fuller Road.
Friday, June 12, 6:51 p.m., Wildlife Rescue: Four ducklings were found stuck in a basement stairwell on Stonebridge Road; responding personnel released the ducklings back into the water.
Friday, June 12, 8:46 p.m., Motor Vehicle Accident: A crash occurred at Commonwealth Road and Oak Street.
Saturday, June 13, 11:15 a.m., Motor Vehicle Accident: A two-vehicle crash occurred at the dental office on the 200 block of Boston Post Road.
Saturday, June 13, 1:35 p.m., Road Closure: A tree was reported down across Grove Street; the road was taped off.
Sunday, June 14, 11:31 a.m., Motor Vehicle Accident: On Bow Road, one vehicle struck an unoccupied car; no injuries were reported.
Sunday, June 14, 5:15 p.m., Public Safety: Natick Police relayed a State Police report of individuals jumping from the Mass Pike into a lake; an officer spoke with parties in the area.
Monday, June 15, 9:49 a.m., Arrest: Tavon Kareem Robinson, 47, of Holbrook, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (firearm) and home invasion.
Tuesday, June 16, 7:40 a.m., Motor Vehicle Accident: A two-vehicle crash in the vicinity of Saint Ann's Church, on the 100 block of Cochituate Road, resulted in no injuries.
Tuesday, June 16, 10:37 p.m., Arrest: A driver at the Carriage House, on the 100 block of Boston Post Road, was taken into custody after a disturbance involving a vehicle. Luzia D. Almeida Oliveira, 34, of Framingham, was charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle, Operating Under the Influence of Liquor (OUI), having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle without a license.
Wednesday, June 17, 8:52 a.m., Burning Odor: The Fire Department responded to a burning odor at a business on the 14 block of West Plain Street; power to the area was shut off and an electrician was called.
Wednesday, June 17, 6:14 p.m., Fraud: A French Avenue resident contacted police regarding credit card fraud.
Thursday, June 18, 9:02 a.m., Gas Line Strike: A gas line was struck at a property on the 200 block of Boston Post Road; National Grid responded and the road was closed by the Department of Public Works.
Thursday, June 18, 5:04 p.m., Brush Fire: A brush fire near the Route 30 bridge on the 50 block of Commonwealth Road was extinguished; the Department of Conservation and Recreation was advised of prior fires at the location and additional patrols.
Thursday, June 18, 6:20 p.m., Package Theft: A Castle Gate Road resident reported a package stolen from her porch.
Thursday, June 18, 9:05 p.m., Road Closure: A tree fell into the roadway on Russell Road; the area was taped off.
Thursday, June 18, 11:06 p.m., Road Hazard: A tree was reported across the roadway on Millbrook Road.
Friday, June 19, 6:20 p.m., Property Damage: A Plain Road resident reported damage to his mailbox.
Saturday, June 20, 4:37 a.m., Motor Vehicle Accident: A single-vehicle crash on Cochituate Road at Windy Hill Lane downed a telephone pole, making the road impassable; a detour was established.
Saturday, June 20, 8:13 a.m., Motor Vehicle Accident: A two-vehicle crash at Coach Grill, on the 55 block of Boston Post Road, resulted in no injuries.
Saturday, June 20, 1:13 p.m., Fraud: A West Plain Street resident contacted police regarding a scam involving car maintenance.
Saturday, June 20, 2:32 p.m., Motor Vehicle Accident: A single vehicle struck a tree on Old Connecticut Path, leaving the road impassable; a detour was established.
Sunday, June 21, 10:17 a.m., Motor Vehicle Accident: A minor two-vehicle crash on Main Street resulted in no injuries.
Sunday, June 21, 3:47 p.m., Utility Hazard: Multiple callers reported a burning tree limb hanging on wires along Plain Road near Draper Road.
