Design Review board defers 297 Post Road sign question to ZBA
WAYLAND — April 16, 2025 — Wayland's Design Review Advisory Board punts a Post Road signage case to the ZBA amid quorum doubts. Chair William Sterling and member Robin Borgestedt were the only attendees Wednesday; member Tatiana Person was out sick, and two former members have yet to submit formal resignations Sterling said he requested. "If they haven't resigned, we don't technically have a quorum," Borgestedt said. The pair nonetheless approved the March 5 minutes 2-0 and agreed informally to make no recommendation on signage at 297 Post Road, where the proposal "far exceeds what's allowed" and the sign has already been built and installed. Sterling said the building appears to have been sold and the buyer may be pursuing the adjacent dentist's office. The meeting adjourned in roughly 10 minutes with no next date set.
